The roots of Dawson Hospitality Group trace back to the Banana Accommodation Village and Banana Hotel Motel now operating in the Banana Shire for over a decade. Having proven itself as a diamond in the rough among Central Queensland hotels, we expanded in 2024 with the restoration of the historic Dululu Hotel and the acquisition of the much loved Hotel Theodore.

Dululu Hotel
The showpiece of Dawson Hopsitality Group venues, the historic Dululu Hotel is the most impressive establishment in the Banana region.
Painstakingly restored over 3 years, this 100 year old Queensland pub has been brought back to life, blending Queenslander charm with modern luxury.
Hotel Theodore

Banana Hotel
The Banana Hotel stands as a testament to the region’s rich history and enduring charm. The hotel has become a landmark stopover in the town where is all about the Bull and not the bananas. Our 20 motel rooms are newly refurbished, clean and spacious with room front parking.
